Tour Details

Marangu Route is one of the most popular hiking routes on Mount Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania. It is also known as the “Coca-Cola” route due to the availability of the beverage at the huts along the way. The Marangu Route is the only route that offers sleeping huts in dormitory-style accommodations.

The Marangu Route is a five-day trek that takes hikers through a variety of landscapes, including rainforest, moorland, and alpine desert. It is considered to be the easiest route to climb and has a high success rate for reaching the summit.

The Marangu 5 day trek is a shorter version of the Marangu Route, which typically takes six days. It is designed for hikers who want to climb Kilimanjaro but have limited time. The 5-day trek follows the same route as the 6-day trek but with a shorter itinerary.

The Marangu Route is a popular choice among hikers because of its relatively easy terrain and the availability of sleeping huts. However, it is important to note that the Marangu Route has a high traffic volume, which can make it feel crowded at times.
